Thank You!

Some people naturally exemplify what it means to be a valued employee. Kathy W. of Sprint's International Gold division in Sacramento, CA is one such person. Recently we received an erroneous bill from Sprint. Adam contacted their Customer Service and Sprint Rewards departments to report the error, expecting it to be corrected at that time. Due to an inflexible and unpleasant woman in the Sprint Rewards department, it was not (this is where I would normally go into my "People who are so unhappy in their job that they can't be civil to others should find a different line of work" rant).

On March 7th, 2001, I called Customer Service, prepared to switch phone service providers if the billing error was not corrected by the time I got off the phone. I got the best Customer Service Rep I've ever dealt with in Kathy W. Kathy went above and beyond the call of duty to resolve the situation in a courteous, expedient manner.

So thank you, Kathy, for being so helpful, pleasant and efficient. In a world where people often seem to forget small courtesies, employees like you renew my faith in human kindness. You may have merely been doing your job, but you did it in a manner that should make you and your employer proud. You are a valuable asset to Sprint, and they should thank you, too! We remain satisfied Sprint customers, thanks to you.
