We can then drag the selected area to the right place.
Once it is in place, we can select the Eraser tool (the third one down) and Flood erase the white. You do this by holding down the Alt key while you click on the white areas. N.B. Be careful when flood erasing as any adjacent white spots on the original avatar will also be erased.
