It's relatively straightforward to move a tile up or down, but if you want to move part of the avatar onto a different tile it becomes trickier.
These pages are designed to take you through the process step by step. It is straightforward, but you could damage your avatar if you are not careful.
First, here is the avatar we are going to use to demonstrate with... a simple two tile avatar consisting of a sleeping cat.
Having "Duped" both tiles, so that we don't damage the original we edit the first tile and select the selector tool. This is the second tool down. We then select the entire area that we want to move. In this case we want to create some space on the right hand side of the prop so that we can move the cat back a bit. We select all but the empty space on the left of the tile (three pixels wide). The selected area has a fine line drawn around it.
